If you have passed by Fry's electronics and Academy on the Gulf Freeway, you probably noticed the new construction located just off the feeder road. Well wonder NO MORE! I am happy to say Rudy's Bar-B-Q is coming to town.
Rudy's got started out as a one stop country store and has evolved into the restaurant it is today. Rudy's pits are 100% wood fired with oak, a slower burning wood than the mesquite used by others. Along with time and oak, Rudy's cook with a dry spice that ensures each plate of Rudy´s Bar-B-Q is perfectly ready for you. Apply some of their famous "Sause" and dinner is served!
Rudy's has about 30 restaurants which are mostly in Texas. It is based in Leon Springs, a small community north of San Antonio. Rudy's pits are fired with oak. The meats are cooked with a dried spice and is famous for its so-spelled "sause," according to the company's Web site.
Webster is expanding and adding many new businesses such as Rudy's. With new businesses springing up, comes new jobs!
I am looking forward to the Grand opening! By the way check back and I'l let you know when they plan the completion of the restaurant.
