The Kemah, TX boat parade is just a day away!
Christmas in Kemah started November 19th and last through December 20th. This Saturday you and the family can enjoy over 100 decorated and lighted boats as they cruise through Galveston Bay. For 50 years Kemah has celebrating this event and this year is the 50th Anniversary.
Start the day in Nassau Bay Holiday in the Park starting at 2 pm. Come check out Santa, snow, food, a train and plenty of fun. After Holiday in the Park enjoy fireworks at 6pm which are the signal to start the boat parade. Boats will be beginning in South Shore Harbour Marina as well as the Nassau Bay Lagoon. They will then pass the channel near the Kemah lighthouse and will make their way to Kemah Boardwalk. Judges will be at the Kemah Boardwalk judging each passing boat. To enjoy all the boats make sure to get to the Kemah Boardwalk early for a great view. The weather on Saturday will be seasonally brisk so be sure to dress with winter in mind! The cool breeze from the water will also make the air much cooler.

While you are viewing some amazingly decorated boats at the boat parade, you can also enjoy some of the many things Kemah Boardwalk has to offer. Take a stroll through the ally of boardwalk games, take a ride on the train, and for some thrills enjoy the Boardwalk Bullet wooden roller coaster. If you need to do some Christmas shopping Kemah has many shops to choose from. While viewing the boat show have dinner at one of the many Landry's owned restaurants Kemah Boardwalk has to offer.
